'This is the sixth time I’ve come to Europe, and I want to tell you two small things in relation to that experience.
When Ayahuasca came to Europe, the proposal it brings is to give healing to beautiful people like you, and especially waking up the shamanic spirit that lives in all of us.
Some years ago, the Spanisch Inquisition stopped the shamanic tradition in Europe. And the same Inquisition came to the American territories and they also tried to destroy the shamanic tradition there.
The plant comes from there to give love to you, people of Europe, children of the Earth, and to wake up your spirits.
We are all children of the earth, browns, blacks, and yellows. And we all have the same blood. And that’s why I want to ask you a special favor. There is a European Community, and within this community there is another European Community. We can give this a specific name: The European Community of Ayahuasqueros. That is who you really are.
I am not the only one who comes to Europe to share this plant. Other Shamans are doing the same work. But you know, another modern tribunal of inquisition that is being controlled by the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency). They have a very stupid idea; they consider ayahuasca to be a drug in the same order as cocaine or other drugs. You all know this has nothing to with these other substances. It is a very big risk to come to Europe with ayahuasca. You can receive a very big penalty for doing this. But the ayahuasca allways arrives here.
The favor I ask you, is not for me, but for ayahuasca, is that this European Community of Ayahuasqueros produces a serious document, with testimonies of all the healings that this community has received. Then we can present a serious document to the European Community and the United Nations to demand that ayahuasca be absolutely legal.
If we all connect with one another, and everyone who received a healing writes a small text about his or her experience. If we combine this with scientific documents from wise people like Albert Hoffmann and Christian Rätsch, then we have a living document. And with these facts we can show them this is a sacred, medicinal plant.
There is a certain acceptance about the use of this plant, but only in certain churches. But the ayahuasca in its traditional, ancestral use is not a church. The traditional, ancestral use of ayahuasca is Shamanic.
If they accept ceremonies in a religious way, it should be possible to get acceptance for the use of ayahuasca in a shamanic way.
When we organize conferences with the press and other activities, I believe the most evident will be the testimonies of the healings.
I will mention one example of the thousands that are there.
Last weekend a woman from Denmark came here for a ceremony, she had been in Colombia before, to drink ayahuasca. Before that she had taken the traditional western medicines. But then the doctors had told her that her cancer was so far developed that they gave her only three months to live. She went to Colombia, she drank three times and received a healing. When she came back to Denmark, the doctors asked her after they had examined her: So where is the cancer? The cancer had disappeared, and they had only given her three months to live! She was here last weekend and she told me about this, and she continues to drink ayahuasca, because ayahuasca has saved her life.
There are thousands of cases like this, healing on the physical level, healings on the mental level, and healings on the spiritual level.'
